Introducing Langdon House

We have previously shared that we were working hard on renovations to open a new service – thank you so much for your prayers. We are pleased to announce that Langdon House in Poole has now officially (re)opened!

Having previously run a service at Langdon, we recently took the building back and embarked on a huge renovation project. We are now pleased to share that Langdon House officially reopened its doors in April as our second Independent Approved Premises, in partnership with HMPPS.

Approved Premises (APs) are residential units that provide temporary placements in the community for people leaving prison and on probation, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitative support. Langdon House has space for 17 men who, whilst being closely supervised by the Probation Service, will receive temporary yet stable accommodation and support to address their needs, find work and ultimately a permanent home in the community.

As we know so well, having a safe place to live is vital for people with convictions to reduce reoffending and effectively reintegrate into the community. Join us in prayer for this new opportunity, in a new area, to have a significant and positive impact on the lives of these men.
