Tracy Wild Chief Executive

Tracy Wild – Chief Executive

Tracy joined the Trust in 2001 and has over 20 years of experience working in the Criminal Justice Sector. As Chief Executive of the Trust, Tracy’s role is to lead, guide and direct overall operations and oversee the strategic direction of the Trust. In her spare time Tracy is a keen traveller.

Stella Wint – Director of Care & Quality

Stella initially came to Langley from a nursing background and has worked for the Trust for over 20 years now, holding a variety of positions during that time. Prior to starting in post as a director, Stella was Head of Care. She has significant experience in assessing and managing risk and a thorough understanding of the care system. This current role was developed to ensure that we deliver a high-quality service to our clients. Stella is growing and developing a team and systems that promote a culture of excellence in all we do.

Chris Metcalfe – Director of Operations

Chris has worked for Langley Trust since August 2001 and brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding of care and supported housing. Prior to working for Langley Chris was a manager in the motor trade for 10 years. He started with us as a relief worker and then worked as a Support Worker, Care Team Leader, Deputy Manager and finally a Service Manager for 3 years. In January 2006 Chris became the Northern Area Manager, a post which he held for 14 years. In July 2020 Chris became the Interim Director of Operations and then assumed the role permanently for the Trust.

Revd Preb Andy Rider – Director of Chaplaincy Services

Andy joined Langley in 2003 as a Trustee after supporting a friend through a prison sentence for armed robbery. An ordained Anglican, he has led churches for over 30 years in central London and today works as Dean of Mission in East London. In May 2020 Andy became a part time Director for Langley and today oversees the spiritual life of the Trust and steers our marketing and church engagement. Andy loves to travel, cycle, cook, swim, walk, read and ski in his spare time.

Bernadette Fitzharris – Director of People

Bernadette joined Langley in 2024 as our Director of People having worked successfully within several senior people management and leadership roles, most recently within NHS Trusts. As well as being a qualified HR professional and a practising Christian, Bernadette is a compassionate and motivated leader, committed to the Trust’s mission, vision, values and objectives. In her spare time, she enjoys running, playing scrabble and spending time with family and friends.

Richard Wilson – Director of Finance & Business Services

Richard joined Langley in 2024 and is responsible for our Finance and Business Services. He spent the first 16 years of his career working in leadership roles in the telecoms and technology industry. Over the past decade Richard has moved to work for Christian charities, including Baptists Together, the national organisation for Baptist churches. Most recently Richard was the Director of Finance, Property, and IT for the London City Mission. He is married and has two teenage children. Richard is a leader and Treasurer at his local Baptist Church, where he also preaches occasionally and plays the guitar.

Board of Trustees

Ruth Williams – Chair of the Board of Trustees

Ruth joined the Trust in 2016. She was appointed as Vice Chair in 2021 and then became the Chair the following year. In addition to being a Registered General Nurse, Ruth has held director and senior level positions within the NHS, where she was responsible for informing strategy and shaping nursing practice. She retired from the NHS in 2018. Ruth holds a Masters in Professional Practice and is also on the professional nursing register as a clinical teacher. Alongside her other responsibilities, Ruth enjoys teaching and speaking at conferences.

Sandie Keene – Chair of the National Consultative Group & Quality Committee
Sandie’s career was in social work and latterly Health and Social Care leadership in both Local and National Government. She currently mentors aspiring women leaders and is a Trustee of 4 Charities. Sandie is married with 2 adult stepchildren. She is active in her local church in many capacities. She enjoys family, providing hospitality and holidays in their campervan.

Revd. Lyn Weston – Chair of the Mission Committee
Lyn is Chief Partnerships Officer for Compassion UK, an international Christian child development charity, and an ordained priest at the Church of England. Her husband is Phil, and they have a son, Luke.

David Cooke – Board Member
David’s career was in IT, both in the private sector and at the MoJ where he was responsible for ensuring the delivery of IT services to prisons, probations and courts. He now volunteers in prison chaplaincy and runs victim awareness courses. David enjoys board games and keeps fit playing pickleball.

Mark Curran – Board Member
Before retiring, Mark worked in senior roles in international business and older people’s housing and care. Mark is kept busy with his ten grandchildren and helping to lead a Church in Coventry.

David Stokes – Board Member
David is a highly experienced credit and risk professional, having forged a career in banking and finance spanning more than 30 years. He is a keen bassist and beekeeper

Linda Trew – Board Member
Linda has worked in the charity sector for twenty-five years, focussing on fundraising and marketing. Linda has held director and senior-level positions where she developed and implemented strategies to reach multimillion-pound targets. Linda now works as a consultant, supporting charities of various sizes. When not working, Linda can be found volunteering as a Chaplain to English speakers living in France – or maybe spending time with her cat, dogs, chickens and ducks.

Stephen Cooper – Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees
An experienced executive with over 37 years in global financial services, specialising in Risk, Compliance, and Transformation. Married with three adult children, Stephen enjoys badminton and theatre and supports Nottingham Forest.

Richard Montgomery – Chair of the Finance & Resources Committee
Richard has a background in industry where he led major projects in property, oil and gas development, and mergers and acquisitions. He has an MBA and over ten years of experience as a chair/non-executive director in the charity sector. He and his wife worship at a church in Twickenham and they have three adult sons who are sometimes around.

Charles Anelay – Board Member
Charles has a breadth of Property experience: first with a multi-award-winning heritage contractor, then as Head of Property and Diocesan Surveyor for the Diocese of York, and now as Property Strategy Project Manager. He is a Lay Reader at his local church and a Trustee for The Wilberforce Trust. He is married to Angela and enjoys reading, good food, hill walking, and rock climbing with more enthusiasm than skill. He also runs, albeit slowly.

Amanda Coyle – Board Member
Amanda’s career is in health and more specifically mental Health with leadership in both regional and National Government. She is the chair of Cleansheet (a charity that supports ex-offenders to attain employment) and is also a trustee of a local MSK charity. Amanda is married with 2 adult children. She is active in her local church in many capacities. She enjoys running, family and providing hospitality to her wide community.

Johannes Etten – Board Member
Johannes has worked in consulting and senior HR leadership roles for nearly 40 years, both, in the UK and internationally. He is married to Andrea. They have three grown-up children and (so far) two grandchildren. He enjoys fitness and is a passionate cook.
