Befriender

Our accommodation services provide vital support for people with convictions and give them a safe place to call home. But our experience tells us that for those individuals who come with broken lives, they also need someone to talk to, someone they can trust and someone who is able to help them navigate some of the life skills they will need to learn.

Langley has an exciting volunteer opportunity for an approachable, practical, and positive individual to join us in the role of Volunteer Befriender at our housing and resettlement services where we support clients with convictions and multiple needs.

We are looking for individuals to help our clients with a variety of everyday tasks, teaching and guiding them through practical work and life experience.

Become a Befriender

Are you the kind of individual who naturally comes alongside people? Could you commit to half a day a week to have a coffee and a chat with one of our clients? If so, we would love to hear from you.
