Woodwork Leader

We know from years of experience that housing is not the only support needed to enable people with convictions to rebuild broken lives. That’s why we make sure each of our services has different activities on offer to help our clients develop new skills and hobbies and to build confidence in themselves.

Langley has an exciting volunteer opportunity for an enthusiastic, creative and positive individual to join us in the role of volunteer Woodwork Leader at our housing and resettlement services where we support clients with multiple needs.

We are looking for someone to work with clients on a variety of creative woodworking tasks and projects, to teach and guide them through practical work and experience, with the goal of helping to improve their self-esteem, confidence and skills.

Become a Volunteer Woodwork Leader

Have you some basic training or trade experience that you can bring to the role of volunteer Woodwork Leader to support access to a broad range of practical activities for our clients? Do you enjoy teaching and mentoring others through hands-on woodwork projects? If the answer is yes to these questions, then we would love to hear from you.
